Business Cards For Everyday People

Filed under: Articles - Administrator @ 1:01 am
Since the 19th century business cards were widespread among people of all classes with a business to promote. The earliest form of business cards, known as tradecards, were used as advertising materials and as maps used to direct the public to the merchant’s store. Today business cards are among the most important marketing material that every business must have.
Quality business cards are a reflection of your company. They’ll set the stage when the recipient eventually contacts you. They can make or break the image of your company, so your unique business cards should be designed carefully, with your company’s branding image in mind. Although the standard information on a business card must include your name, title, company name, address, phone numbers, e-mail and Web sites, you have the freedom to make your unique business cards entirely your own creation. Use graphics that help to describe your business. Maybe include your company’s tag line.
What should you do when you are redesigning your card?
Choose appropriate fonts for your business, avoiding trendy or overly embellished versions.
Put your awards and accolades on your business card. If you had a choice between working with a person who won awards and one who didn’t, who would you choose? Unless you tell people about your successes, how will they know?
You can add a tag line to your business card that speaks about your USP.
